ADM’s natural starch products, made from corn and wheat, are used as floating agents to facilitate drilling and to help you face tough environmental requirements. ADM has the technology to provide consistent starch supplies that meet your mining specifications, and our processing technicians can chemically modify starch to meet your specific requests.
Xanthan Gum & Lecithin
ADM produces OptiXan™ xanthan gum and lecithin for drilling operations. Both products consistently deliver the physical properties to help your drills run smoother and deeper. Both meet specific viscosity needs in both fresh and salt water. ADM can produce OptiXan xanthan gum in large lot sizes, which reduces product variation.
