NuSun is the next generation of sunflower oil. Created by traditional breeding methods, NuSun is not transgenic—yet is predominantly monounsaturated with a low level of saturated fat, while providing all the benefits of traditional sunflower oil.
NuSun is a naturally stable oil which is low in trans-fatty acids and saturates. NuSun is ideal for food applications including frying, baking, dressings and even infant formulas. And, although NuSun is often resold under a proprietary name, food manufacturers and food service providers can ask for NuSun by name or simply request ADM’s mid-oleic sunflower oil.
