The primary mission of ADM’s Feed Technology Research Group is a simple yet challenging one: to develop innovative, technologically advanced and cost-effective products and feed manufacturing processes for livestock feeds.
To make this goal possible, ADM’s feed technology pilot plant is equipped with a variety of feed handling and processing equipment. This equipment is designed to test new ingredients in feed formulas, test new variations of formulas to improve product quality, and aid in development of new manufacturing processes that will enhance livestock performance.
Our staff works closely with research nutritionists to ensure bioavailability of nutrients through manufacturing processes, and works with manufacturing personnel on commercial applications of these technologies. Feed technologists provide small-batch and experimental feeds and technical support for our research trials.
