corporate headquarters in Decatur, Illinois, and internship appointments are available around the U.S. During the summer program, each internship class visits the corporate headquarters twice. We use a hands-on approach, challenging interns with a variety of responsibilities. This gives students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge as they work in a real business environment. In addition, self-development guides provide the interns with information about the various divisions of ADM and the operations in which they are engaged.

ADM offers a limited number of internships to mainly junior and senior-level college students. They are awarded to candidates with outstanding academic credentials, demonstrated leadership qualities, strong communication skills, a conscientious work ethic and a genuine interest in ADM and our corporate mission. Applicants must have completed 90 semester hours, or be within two semesters of graduation, and maintain a minimum 2.8 GPA.
Housing is offered for those students assigned to summer locations outside of their home or campus area. In addition, standard costs are reimbursed for relocating to and from the assigned location. Students are responsible for providing their own means of transportation.
