Information technology is a vital link in ADM's global network of food and agricultural processing activities. Our Information Technology staff teams with experts from all areas of our business to create and implement innovative solutions designed to support and sustain ADM's global franchise.
A combination of training and hands-on experience with ADM's diverse business activities will help you quickly develop your skills. The Information Technology Department at ADM utilizes the most advanced technology available to streamline processes and reduce cost. Business requirements are constantly changing and growing. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are willing to accept new challenges, possess a need to grow as individuals and have a desire to contribute to the Company's success.
Internship:
Internships are available year-round in E-Business, Client Server Programming, Web Development, Mainframe Programming, Help Desk and software/hardware installation and troubleshooting. All of the internships include hands-on training and can be arranged around your college class schedules.
Location – Decatur, Illinois.
Entry level:
ADM also recruits full-time entry-level positions for I.T. Most candidates start their careers as Programmer Analysts, which begin in a training program focusing on Web, VB or COBOL programming. After completing approximately 12 to 26 weeks of training, Programmer Analysts will be placed with a team to begin analyzing, developing, implementing and maintaining business and/or plant applications.
